Paris -- Notre Dame

The famous tower -- and no, I didn't go to the top. This is as close as we got.

The reception room at the Musee d'Orsay

At the top of the Musee d'Orsay with the Louvre Museum in the back (across the Seine).

In the Louvre, Monet's painting of turkeys (for Samuel and Sophie and Jamie).

The pyramid at the Louvre.

Ken studying a Monet's water lillies.

We happen to be here for Bastille Day -- our hotel was three blocks away from the square. Lots of music and people having fun.

We found giant ice cream freezers (hand crank)

Ken tried the ice cream.

This is the front of Monet's house in the little village of Giverny.

A flower garden.

The famous water lilly pond.

I meant to wish you a happy Bastille day, but didn't think of it until it was the 15th here. Nice pics!
